5 American Pool Players at the Women's 9 Ball Championship

Jeanette Lee, Kim White, Anna Kostanian, Belinda Calhoun and Liz Ford are the five American pool players sent by the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and the Women's Pool Billiard Association (WPBA) to the 2008 World Pool Associations Women’s 9 Ball Championship. The 2008 WPA 9 Ball Championship will take place in Taipei, Taiwan between April 1st and 7th.

About Jeanette Lee

Jeanette Lee, aka "The Black Widow" is one of the greatest stars in today's pool circuit. Holder of over 30 titles, Lee was named the "WPBA Sportsperson of the Year" in 1998. In 2001, when represented the US at the World Games, Lee had won the Gold Medal.

About Kim White

Kim White is coming back to Taiwan for the second consecutive year, after finishing in the 5th place at last year's WPA 9 Ball Championship. The former elected WPBA Board President, White is ranked no. 11 at the Women's Pool Billiard Association.

About Anna Kostanian

The 20 years old Anna Kostanian will be making her first appearance at an international 9ball pool tournament at the upcoming Women's 9 Ball Championship. Also known as the "Piranha" Kostanian has less than 2 years experience as a pro pool player.

About Liz Ford

Liz Ford will be also making her WPA 9 Ball Championship debut in Taipei. On top of being one of the most promising 9ball pool players, Ford also practices straight pool and three-cushion billiard.

About Belinda Calhoun

In her 30 years professional pool career Belinda Calhoun has won dozens of titles including World Straight Pool Championship. Calhoun aka "The Texas Belle" was induced to WPBA Hall of Fame in 2006.
